totally dominated my papers. straight up kicked them in the face. well. maybe not exactly. that seems a little harsh. but i did embarrass them in front of a large crowd. and they deserved it. and everyone clapped after i delivered my witty retort that put them in their place. i turned and walked out of the cafeteria to roaring applause, the papers sitting defeated among a standing ovation of well-wishers.
i think i want this bathing suit. i just have to own up to the fact that i am never going to wear a bikini. it's just not going to happen. i need to accept it. and it's probably for the best- a bikini would just mean even more sunscreen.
things i'm currently thinking about:
1. making days of the week underwear (i only ever had one set when i was little but i really enjoyed them. i like the days of the week. the way they feel, they way they sound. what better way to pay homage than to stick them on my butt?)
2. starting a short story journal. in the beautiful journal that wendy bo-bonitz gave me for graduation. it will be strictly short stories. because i have you, beautiful blog, to share my rants and raves with! and i always write better when it's on actual paper with an actual pen.
3. making a top ten list ala rockstar diaries. i think it would be a good way to cheer me up on bad days. and i love me a list. mmm mmm good.
4. pear and blue cheese pizza.
5. the phenomenal new burrito of the day that i plan to enjoy on friday with helrin.
things are wonderful!
i am totally on board for the days of the week undies. i definitely had a set, and i remember REFUSING to wear them if it wasn't their specific day. my mother thought i was nuts.
ReplyDeleteit also always makes me think of when harry met sally, the scene in the diner from when they first meet and she talks about her days of the week underpants, it is brilliant.
thanks for you the add!
