well i did. a couple weeks ago. i went to a new place called '
shag' that's like two minutes from my house. the whole place is covered in cheetah wallpaper and when i walked in the 'hairspray' soundtrack was blasting. bill is hilarious- he lived in new york in the eighties and has a million cool stories. i talked to him the entire time i was there which is a big deal because i'm normally totally silent during haircuts (i never have anything to say to those bitchy girl hairdressers). he's also really friggin' professional. i told him exactly what i wanted and he listened, offered suggestions, and then chopped off enough hair to make a small dog. i'm so happy with the end result- much curler, more volume, i don't look like a crazy person. or i just look like a different kind of crazy that i'm more okay with. ballleerrrrrrr.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you - I rarely ever talk to the people doing my hair. The last time I tried the girl went off on me about how mean I am to my hair because I use a flatiron. Yikes.
