this was worn several weeks ago when it was still appropriate to be clad in tights. just thinking about wearing this today makes me sweat. walking outside felt like a million invisible weather angels stampeded you with hot blankets and wrapped you so tight in them it was difficult to move. like swimming through hot gravy. i'm definitely glad the temperatures are rising fo' sho' but i'm realizing how much i romanticize summer. sun, no jackets, sitting in the grass = perfect. but i usually gloss over the memories of frizzy hair, red faces, endless streams of sweat running down my back and flowing out of my armpits like exploding fire hydrants. then i act all surprised when it happens over ago, as it doesn't happen every summer. i am a dummy.about the outfit: took some dark colors, did some pattern-mixing with an obnoxious skirt, blah blah blah. ta-da! i dressed myself! here it is! i think the people at my internship think i'm nuts.
