oh hey - did i mention i graduated? because i definitely graduated. the alice cooper lyrics finally, fully apply to me. except maybe the part about school being blown to pieces. that remains a metaphor. analogy? maybe i shouldn't have graduated.
i borrowed my gown from a coworker and decked out my cap with a quote from one of my favorite tv shows (bonus points to anyone who can guess which show). the actual ceremonies were insanely boring. i fell asleep twice during the ceremony for my school (last name with a w + graduating class of 666 students = recipe for a nap.) and none of the speakers were very good.
but! more importantly! my parents and my grandpa came down to philly! we had snacks and champagne with my roomies and their parents back at the house, then met up with my cousin eileen for dinner at Route 6 - super amazing seafood place.
