and i live life like the captain of a sinking ship

i cleaned yesterday. it felt really really good. i did my laundry, washed all the dishes, vacuumed- the whole nine yards. i did really well on my speech today ( i was nervous after last time) and i felt really really good after it. so good that i decided to be super productive. i hemmed three dresses (i bought them all a really long time ago with the intention of hemming them so i didn't look like a crazy prairie woman. but i never really got around to it. i've had the blue one since eleventh grade. how's that for some procrastinating?) and organized my fabric stash. tomorrow i'm going to buy vegetables for crafternoon soups and hopefully some new tights (gray, mustard yellow, dusty plum, cranberry, patterns- i want them allllllllll) and new shoes. then i'm going to make new dresses and read and act like i'm not in college for one night. like i'm just a real person doing whateverrrrrrrr.

also: i've switched gears from cake (they were on repeat all weekend) to atmosphere. so gooood. i also found a cover of "eleanor rigby" by aretha franklin. whhhatttttt. weird. but delightful. i'll try to find it for you guys.
